History
Founded
on July 1, 1936, with a capital investment of $800, Petersburg Plumbing
& Heating Company is Central Illinois' oldest and most experienced
plumbing, heating and air conditioning contractor. The descendents
of founder Milo F. Vogt still run the company out of the same historic
Petersburg building where the doors first opened. In
1968, PPH added excavation work to its capabilities and today is
also sought after for its design/build services. The company specializes
in commercial/industrial jobs and many of Central Illinois' most
prominent and enduring structures bear the mark of PPH professionals.

Officers and Key Staff
Milo
H. Vogt , CEO
The
son of founder Milo F. Vogt, Milo H. Vogt joined the company in
1948, several years before PPH became a corporation. As Secretary
of the Company, Vogt helped direct the rapid growth of PPH over
the next four decades. In 1985, Milo H. Vogt became President of
PPH and ascended to the position of CEO upon his retirement on January
1, 2000. He is married to Mary and has three children, Milo F. Vogt,
III, John and Cindy and has four grandchildren.

F. Vogt, III, President
The
grandson and namesake of the company's founder, Milo F. Vogt, III
became the third generation of Vogts to join the family business
when he came to work for PPH in the late 1960s. On January 1, 2000,
Vogt became President of the company and continues to chart a course
for the future. A lifelong resident of Petersburg, he is married
to Vicki and has two children, Lindsay and Brian.
Charles
R. Alderman , Secretary/Treasurer
A
licensed plumber, Charles Alderman started with the company in 1970.
In 1975, he was appointed Vice President and in 1995 was appointed
President. He served as PPH's President until this year, when he
chose semi-retirement. Among his duties as Secretary/Treasurer are
working with Milo F. on administrative matters and helping the project
managers with coordination of material and equipment to job sites.
Alderman, a native of Jerseyville, is married to Rosemary, and has
three sons: Jeff, a football coach and educator in Dunlap; Jody,
a PPH project manager; and Shannon, Deputy Director of Traffic Safety,
Illinois Department of Transportation. There are five grandchildren.
Kim
A. Favero, Vice President, Excavating Division

Kim
Favero joined PPH in 1985, after earning a degree in Civil/Environmental
Engineering and working 8 years as a Resident Engineer . In his
current position, he is responsible for project management, bid
preparation and estimating for projects in the areas of excavating,
storm sewers and sanitary sewers, water distribution and treatment
plants. Favero is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois
as well as a Licensed Private Sewage Disposal System Installer.
He is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers
and American Society of Civil Engineers. He is married to Nancy
and has three daughters: Amie, Beth and Julie.
Leonard
W. Gray, Vice President, Mechanical Division pph@fgi.net
Leonard
Gray has more than 30 years with the company and has overseen projects
including the Crowne Plaza Hotel and The Renaissance Hotel in Springfield,
and renovation of the Kincaid, Illinois Power Plant. As one of PPH's
project managers, he is responsible for bidding, estimating and
supervision of all aspects of the job. He is married to Marion and
has three children: Todd, Stephen and Nicci.

Jody
started with the company as an apprentice plumber in 1979. He spent
16 years in the field, as part of PPH's installtion crew. During
that time he received his State Plumbing license. The last four
years he worked in the feild as a job superintendent, supervising
crews on the job site. Since 1995 he has been a Project Manger.
He prepares estimates and proposals, acts as the client contact
and oversees all aspects of the job. He is married to Julie, and
has two sons: Ryan and Nathan.
Betty
Bryant
Payroll Clerk, Assistant Secretary to the Corporation
Betty
Bryant has been with PPH for more than 30 years. She serves as PPH's
payroll clerk and is responsible for administering salaries for
up to 200 people over the course of a year and completion of all
payroll tax returns. She is married to Donald and has two daughters:
Kim Cummings and Kari Eddings, the latter of whom started with PPH
in June 2000. There are four grandchildren.
Brenda
Watkins, Secretary
Brenda
Watkins started with the company in 1994 after working in the court
system in Springfield for 14 years. As part of the clerical team,
she is responsible for organizing all bids and pay estimates as
well as preparation of invoices and administering Workers' Compensation
claims. She is married to Gordon and has four children: Dustin,
Hailey, Megan and Danny.
Kari
Eddings, Secretary
Kari
Eddings started with the company in June 2000 after working for
an implement dealer for five years. She is training not only in
the secretarial field but also payroll and bookkeeping. She is married
to Scott and has two sons, Hayden and Alex.
Dawna
Raikes, Accounting Manager
Dawna Raikes has been with PPH since 1989 and is
responsible for all of the accounting and financial records for
the company. She works with the company's outside auditors to provide
audit reports, yearly tax returns and financial statements. She
is also responsible for maintaining and updating the computer technology
for the business. She has more than 20 years of accounting experience.
She is married to Ron and has two sons, Aaron and Erik.
